Approved by the Supreme People’s Court and Commission of Public Sectors Reform of Jilin Provincial Party Committee, Changchun IP Court is located in the Intermediate People’s Court of Changchun and officially founded on December 26, 2018. Wang Junzheng, Member of Standing Committee of Jilin’s CPC Provincial Committee and Secretary of Changchun Municipal Party Secretary and Hu Jiafu,Member of Standing Committee of Jilin’s CPC Provincial Committee and Secretary of Jilin’s Commission of Politics and Laws jointly unveiled the new IP court. Xu Jiaxin, Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group of Jilin and Acting President of the new court presided over the inaugurating ceremony. As the first IP court in Northeast China, the establishment of Changchun IP Court constitutes a forceful measure to deepen the judicial system reform and improve the IPR judicial system with Chinese characteristics as well as the innovative practice of advancing the innovation-driven strategic implementation and serving the new practice of ensuring the high-quality development of Jilin.
