On March 8, Jordan Sports Co., Ltd. (Jordan Sports) v. Nike Sports (China) Co., Ltd. (Nike Sports), Nike (China) Business Co., Ltd. (Nike Commercial) concerning the infringement upon trademark rights and unfair competition disputes. Jinjiang Court intellectual property Tribunal tried this case in public. The plaintiff claimed that the defendant used their Jordan' relevant identification (including Jordan's official website, Jordan basketball shoes and clothing, etc.) with higher population, as key words to promote and sell Nike’s sneakers. This action involves the infringement upon exclusive right to use registered trademark, and the defendant’s behavior constitutes unfair competition. But the court did not pronounce judgment this case on the spot.
